Knitting kit for Virginia Sweater using Isager Boucle

Virginia Sweater by Helga Isager Knitting Kit option using Isager Boucle and Isager Jensen yarns.

Introducing the Virgina Sweater Knitting Kit, one of the beautiful designs by Helga Isager I was lucky to see and fall in love with while visiting Isager in Denmark this year. As all of Helga's designs it is simple and stylish with perfect fit. This versatile design can be knitted in various yarn combinations, but the Boucle version I saw, was just so scrumptious I counted not resist making up the kit for you. 

• The kit will knit all up to size 4 and will include all the yarn you need  (3 x Jesen yarn 50g of 3 colours and  7 x Isager Boucle colour 6S)
• The PDF pattern will be delivered direct from Ravelry to your inbox.

You will need additional (not included in the kit) 4 mm (used in this sample), 3.5 mm and 3 mm circular needles, or size to achieve the gauge.

Please read carefully the pattern and sizing information below. If you wish to knit larger size, just add the extra balls of the Isager Boucle yarn in colour 6S to your order.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in the round. First the body and then the sleeves are worked in the round to the armholes. At the armholes, body and sleeves are joined for the yoke, which is worked in the round with decreases between the sections in pattern. The top of the yoke is worked back and forth, while stitches are bound off to shape the neckline. After this, a collar is worked, starting with a repeat of the pattern and ending with rib.
The sweater has rib edges and a simple slipped stitch pattern with Stockinette stitch sections in between the sections worked the pattern.
