Welcome to Timeless, my little world of treasures in Tiverton! I'm Sandra, and I'd love to share the story of my shop, the journey I've been on, and the unique products I offer. Over the years, my shop has evolved, changed, and grown, but I've always stayed true to one rule—I must genuinely adore the items I'm offering. Whether it's yarns, knitwear, vintage home decor, or antiques, each piece must possess a captivating story, thoughtful design, and the craftsmanship of real people. Above all, they must exude timeless appeal and quality. Plus, a little charm never hurts!
- The beginnings of Timeless
Nearly 15 years ago, I set up shop at my current location. While my product range has expanded and adapted to customer requests over time, I have always stayed true to my core values. When you visit Timeless, you'll discover a delightful selection of squishy yarns, knitting inspirations from European suppliers, and ready-to-wear pieces from British brands, made in the UK and Ireland. I care deeply about the origins and craftsmanship of my products, staying true to my ethos of providing quality items for a slower, more mindful lifestyle. Rather than chasing fleeting fashion trends, I focus on craftsmanship and style. After all, fast fashion is so last season!
- From Latvia to Tiverton
Originally from Latvia, I moved to the UK in 2002 to be with my partner, Martin. (Yes, I moved for love!) My initial venture here involved importing high-quality glass costume jewelry from the Bohemian region in the Czech Republic, as well as beads for craft enthusiasts. Working from home soon became unsustainable (the beads were taking over the living room), so I opened my first small shop just around the corner from home. After a year, I moved to a larger space at 5 William Street, starting with beads and crafts and gradually introducing yarns, closely followed by knitwear —a passion of mine inspired by Latvia’s rich craft traditions. Time spent in college years ago learning craft design were finally becoming useful. Basically, after long years I have gone back to what I did study originally.
- Martin's Timeless Antiques
Next door to Timeless is Timeless Antiques, run by my partner, Martin. During the pandemic, the premises next to mine became available, providing Martin with the perfect location for his unique business. Martin has always been passionate about antique furniture, meticulously sourcing, selecting and caring for each piece to ensure they are polished, waxed, and ready for you to take home and admire. If you have questions about the age or history of your antique furniture, Martin is the expert to consult. Trust me, he can date an antique piece of furniture and identify the wood faster than most people can date online!

At Timeless, my passion for quality yarns, and textiles is evident in the carefully curated selection I offer. Over the years, I’ve developed an understanding of these materials and care for their origins. I am sourcing products to offer my customers items that are current yet timeless, avoiding the fast fashion trend in favour of pieces that can be cherished for years. Every brand and item is carefully selected for its beauty and merit. And if something makes me smile, it’s in, if it passes the "would I proudly show this off to my friends?" test, it's definitely in!
