Here at Timeless shop in Tiverton we are so often asked how to care for your delicate hand knits and how to hand wash your jumpers. Cashmere and wool are delicate natural fabrics that deserve special treatment (as we all do from time to time). We found that Clothes Doctor No.3 Eco Wash for Cashmere and Wool with a gentle pH neutral formula that extends the life of your knitwear through cleaning, renewing and softening is what we can recommend. It is lightly scented with Himalayan cedarwood and orange oil, to provide natural moth defence as well. Use this treatment in a hand wash or add to a delicate machine cycle. After washing, dry your garment flat on a towel, and savour the lingering aroma of wonderful essential oils.

Hand wash: Fill a basin with cool water, dilute 1 - 2 capfuls (6 - 12ml), then place your garments in and submerge. Gently agitate the water, leave for around 30 min. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Machine: Use cashmere or delicates wash setting and pour into dispenser. For light soiling use 2 - 3 capfuls (15ml), medium soiling use 4 - 5 capfuls (30ml), and heavy soiling use 8-9 capfuls (50ml).

Drying: Press out water gently and dry flat on a towel.

Any washing of 'dry clean only' items at home is done so at your own risk. Do not consume. Rinse eyes if splashed.
