How to Knit with holding 2 strands of yarn together

For some time now this knitting technique has been featured by a lot of favourite knitwear designers and yarn brands. I personally love the "fluff" like Kid Silk or Silk Mohair, but alone it is a bit fine and tedious to knit with. However, it is perfect, added to more rustic yarns as a softening agent! Firstly I can knit on bigger needles and secondly I love to adjust the colour of the garment.
