Free pattern for little felted bags

These  ones are brilliant as little gift bags and they are easy to make! all you will need is feltable knitting wool like West Yorkshire Spinners new Re:Treat and a few bits and pieces to decorate. Measurement after felting approximately 10cm (4 inches) x 10cm.

Using 6.5mm needles and West Yorkshire Spinners Re:Treat yarn cast on 30sts.

Row1 – knit all sts

Row 2 – purl all sts

Knit 20 rows.

Next row -*knit 3, yo (yarn over needle), knit 2 together*, repeat * to * to the end.

Next row – purl all sts.

Knit once more rows 1 &2. Cast off.

Stitch up side and the bottom of the bag. Now felt the bag. Stitch on the decorations.
